Marc Cucurella Enjoys Life at Chelsea, Rules Out Barcelona Return for Now

Marc Cucurella spent eight years at Barcelona after joining the La Masia academy from Espanyol in 2012. Despite making it to the first team, he only made one senior appearance before being loaned out to Eibar and Getafe.

In 2020, he secured a permanent move to Getafe, where his career flourished. Following an impressive season with Brighton, Chelsea signed him in 2022 for a significant transfer fee.

He played a key role in helping Spain win Euro 2024. Despite keeping an eye on Barcelona’s progress, the 26-year-old left-back has made it clear that he has no plans to return to his boyhood club.

He expressed his happiness in London, where he and his family feel comfortable and settled.
