Crystal Palace Dominates Aston Villa 3-0 to Reach FA Cup Final for Third Time

This early goal gave Palace the momentum they needed, and although Villa managed to create a few more chances, they failed to break down the Palace defense, with the home team going into halftime with a 1-0 lead. Villa’s hopes of a comeback were given a brief boost when a penalty was awarded in their favor following a foul by Boubacar Kamara on Eze.

However, Palace's goalkeeper and defense held strong, with Jean-Philippe Mateta’s resulting penalty shot hitting the post, leaving Villa frustrated and without an equalizer. The match then swung firmly in Palace’s favor.
