Claude Makelele Reveals Key Role in Antonio Rudiger’s Move from Chelsea to Real Madrid

Former Chelsea and Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele has revealed his crucial role in Antonio Rudiger’s decision to leave Chelsea and join Real Madrid in 2022. The legendary Frenchman admitted that he acted as Rudiger’s main advisor when the defender was torn between offers from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG.

With his deep knowledge of Madrid’s culture and expectations, Makelele strongly urged Rudiger to seize the opportunity and play for Los Blancos.

Since joining the Spanish giants, Rudiger has thrived, winning LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League while establishing himself as a key player under Carlo Ancelotti.
