Barcelona Prioritizes Luis Diaz After Missing Out on Nico Williams and Desire Doue

Barcelona continues its search for a new left winger after failing to strengthen the position in the summer of 2024. Initially, their top target was Nico Williams, but the Spanish international decided to stay at Athletic Club.

Now, Barcelona has shifted its focus to Liverpool star Luis Diaz, with sporting director Deco determined to secure the transfer.

The club was offered a chance to sign Desire Doue while he was still at Rennes. Deco reportedly considered the move seriously, as Doue possesses the explosive, offensive, and dynamic qualities that fit Barcelona's style.

However, financial constraints at the time prevented the deal, leading Doue to join PSG instead.
